YES JAPAN!! Another Asian Soccer Team Have Entered Into The World Cup – 2nd Round!
Posted by admin in Trivial of Life, World Cup HighlightsGood Morning,
Until last night, the average goals per game in the World Cup matches were 1.3 but another than Paraguay vs New Zealand game which ended goaless (All Whites, New Zealand is out despite Draw), 12 goals were scored in the other 3 matches! And we have 2 big surprises.
The Biggest One is that World Champion of the last World Cup, Italy, is OUT of the Competition after their rather amazing defeat to the Slovakia team. The Italian team, was way too over-confident in the 1st half and left it too late. Overall they were much better in terms of possession and ball control and open field play but arrogant and no sense of urgency killed them.
So while we have the Champion is dumped out of the competition, Japan, joined the South Korean in the last 16 with a stunning victory over Denmark which clearly seem to be ‘dreaming’ most of the time. I foresee Japan qualifying into the last 8 with their next oponent being Uraguay.
And last, the under-par Holland managed to scraped past a win over the hard-fought Cameroon team. Ito managed to put himself on the scoresheet this time but luck was clearly on the former team side which clearly unimpressed me. So enjoy this goal feasts and may your day started with a SAMBA! Cheers!
