Market Direction on the STI today:

The upside V3Go ROC pattern already indicate that today we might see some initial resistance on the upside especially with the Dow ending below 10,000 again, after testing it twice over as many days. The Magic Number for today is 2723 thus unless we can see a strong STI, if not, shall the market trades below OP of today, one should be caution in going long today. The V3Go DIFF S/L will be at 2708.I expect this level to be the initial support for today. The STI closed at 2716 yesterday.

Gameplan in mind:Yesterday, our picks; Financial One, CapComm, Hoe Leong and Sinotel outperformed the market with pretty good intraday gains while UTD and Genting traded lower. Not bad, 4/6 score card with the STI only up 1point by the end of the day. For today, we will be looking at some profit taking on those who went up yesterday, to lock in the profit and wait for the next good signal to enter into the market. So do check this blog on a regular basis for any new entries!!

Market Direction for Hang Seng Futures

The market was closed yesterday on Holiday thus we expect some serious trading upon the opening bell and most probably we will see a gap down first before some bargain hunting to resume IF it trades above the OP of the day. If not, one should be shorting or selling into the market. The Magic Number for any possibility of UPside will be at 22733. The market closed at 22601 as of last Friday.

Market Direction for Jakarta Stock Exchange

The market  closed at 2467 yesterday and the V3Go TSC is a DT TSC thus, unless we see the market going above 2475,  if not, one should be shorting or selling into the market. But should the market go above 2476 convincingly, one can expect upside to 2520 in the coming 2 weeks.

Before I start the day, I would like to share what I saw over the weekend. First in line will be the Shell S$1/litre promotion on last Saturday. More than 40cars were seen lining up from the kiosk to the Junction before Tampines Mall. That’s near a 300meters queue for your visualization. Honestly, I wanted to queue too but the hot sun and long queue detered me. But once again, it really that whenever there is a promotion of sort, people can really take their time to get what they want.

The Second similar event that I saw was the Body Shop Great Discount promotion at Tampines Mall which attracted so many people, holding carrier box which contained tens of bottles of Body Shop products. I would say that the Promotion really did a great job to expose the Brand to the market and also give the loyal customers a good chance to save a couple of more bucks in such lean time.

What do I learn from here? Well.. other than the typical Singaporean KS mentality but more importantly is that even a TOP Branded product needs and do sales promotion to attract customers so as the Proud Owner of V3Go Mentoring Program, I must also stay firm with my viewership of doing Promotion and Marketing for V3Go Mentoring Program. Currently, I am spending alot of time talking to people who expressed their interest in doing business with me and this really thrilled me as I can foresee that a great change is about to come for this business of mine. We will be resuming our regular V3Go eXpress in November and have our 30th V3Go Mentoring Program (Singapore) in December. The Event Calender will be announced on this coming Wednesday via this Blog and Email to our near 3000 database that we have. So WATCH for our Comeback!!

Back to the financial market and our analysis:

The local STI must stay above 2717 for today, for further upside after last friday’s strong rally of near 34points. I am looking at it to test 2756 for this week. If that level is cleared convincingly by mid Novemeber then my next target will be 2819 then 2886 by December 2009. Overall, I am pretty bullish in the market since March 2009 and I’m been staying with this view since. To me, we are at the START of a ‘possible amazing bull’ until 2011 before we SEE a possible real correctional move. So lets keep track of my prediction.

For HK: The market is close today on Chung Yeung Festival.

For the Crude Oil: As mentioned, US$81.84 is a very strong resistance for this commodity at the moment thus crude oil is back down below US$80/barrel. V3Go TAOS technique is a very powerful method to gauge market’s resistancen and support. So for the time being, I will wait for the next entry.
