HK was calling for a short this morning due to Diff. However as TSC calls for a buy, I longed HK at OP + 1 for 1V profit since the risk reward favors the long side. When HK couldn’t hit my target profit level of 1V, I take some profit on HK and true enough it sell down further to hit -1V profit of about 100 points.
Congrats to those who make $$$!
Diff ROCKS!
Market is likely to be volatile in the morning session after a relatively large movement yesterday. I’m expecting HK to recover slightly in later session to close near the OP.
We had live trade for our new batch of Diff Grads today and made $$$ shorting HK this morning.
I learnt this expression “mencret” from one of our Diff Grads when HK kept free falling till it supports about 300 plus points lower from its OP.
Rest of the Asian markets were not spared. NK was bullish in early trading but gave up all its winnings to close near the low. As expected, JKSCI was not spared by the region’s “mencret” – It couldn’t stay above 2377 as mentioned in my blog earlier and sell down to close the the DL.
So I guess the question that everyone has on his/her mind will be:
“Is it safe for me to buy stocks? Will it go down further?”
Let’s look at my homework
Overall indicators are bearish. Despite breaking below Diff S/L (2338), it managed to closed above it. This is a sign of potential reversal on JKSCI. My take on the market:
Depending on the region’s performance, JKSCI may sell down in early trading to break below Diff S/L and V3Go SC (2346)
If JKSCI can be supported at 2328 (LB) and start to recover back above 2338, good chance of a recovery in the market since the market has sold down by a considerable amount.
During the live trade, we look at the 2 stocks in my stock pick based on Diff last week:
Lippo Karawaci (LPKR): We took small losses at 680 (DL at 640)
Perusashaan Gas Negara (PGAS): We book 50% profit at 3525 (1V) and left 50% to hold.
Perhaps you may think that the gains on PGAS is not much as compared to previous day gains. However, do note that PGAS managed to end POSITIVE while JKSCI forms a long down candle to end at DAY LOW!!! This indicates presence of buying interest on the counter!
Strictly speaking there’s isn’t stocks that fulfilled my criteria of both Diff and ROC (PGAS, despite closing above Diff R/L, forms a narrowing ROC). My take:
Your stock counters are likely to sell down lower below OP but if it managed to stay above OP. Good chance of a strong recover when JKSCI recovers.
I was busy preparing for the upcoming Diff Workshop on this coming Sunday. As such, I didn’t manage to post my stock pick for today. Based on TSC, it was a clear cut buy sign for JKSCI when it open above the down channel today. Despite JKSCI ending slightly positive, those stocks that I was supposed to post for potential short candidate managed to close slightly below OP. That is the power of Diff!
Based on V3Go Techniques, there is a good chance of JKSCI to be choppy in early trading. Hence do expect your counters may not have much gain in the morning. JKSCI must stay above 2377 to be safe on the long side. Back to the stocks…
Potential Long Candidate based on Diff:
Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR): Above 680
Perusashaan Gas Negara (PGAS): Above 3325
Stocks on watch list:
Mitra Rajasa (MIRA): This counter seems to be well supported at 485. If it managed to stay above 485 for next week. Good chance of rally on this counter.
Quite a number of stocks didn’t meet our requirement i.e. closed above Diff R/L or below Diff S/L with ROC showing good signal to buy or sell. Frankly, I’m looking to buy stocks that are trending down and shorting stocks that are trending up.
Please don’t be mistaken. I’m not a contrarion or don’t believe in “follow the trend”. For stocks that have rallied, it is not wrong to buy since you are “following the trend”. However the risk is higher since you are buying at a higher price. We should have bought at the start instead of trying to join in the “rat race” chasing the trend.
The good thing about Diff is that you know exactly whether the stock is ready or not. If it is not ready, we will save a lot of $$$ and heart pain waiting for the counter to rally or struggling whether to cut loss.
Pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini mungkin muncul di pikiran Anda :
1. Apa gunanya menghadiri seminar jika akhirnya pun masih rugi?
