Since morning, I already told all my V3Go Graduates to take note of HK at 20168 and STI at 2914.

If the market can recover back to these level after the initial sell off, we might see a possible market bottom signal.

Based on calculation, we are looking at the following:

1400hr – 1440hr = Upside

1440hr – 1510hr = Slight Downside

1510hr – 1705hr = Resume of Upside.

Both of them are having great difficulty to recover above their OP

OP for HK is 20179….  currently at 20109

OP for Shanghai is 2432 … currently at 2420

Therefore unless the market can go past the OP, we may need to see further “profit taking” on the market.

Is this the sell off that everyone is talking about?

But honestly, I am not going to say that as I am staying very BULLISH of this market.

When I say BULLISH, I am not referring to the market will U-turn and rally today or tomorrow but optimistic of the market for the next 4-5months.

Undeniable, many traders are beginning to feel the strain of the recent selling and some are on the verge of giving up.

If you can recall, what happened in March 2012……

Back then, the STI was at 2945… then it rallied to a high of 3010…. and began to cave in and in a single day, the STI lost 2% on the 6th of March. On the 7th of March, the low was 2906.

Now, lets take a look of our market now

On the 11th of April, the low was 2946… then it rallied to a high of 3013 on the 3rd of May

And then within 5 trading days, we having an intra-day low of 2906!

What is the similarities of 7th of March 2012 and 9th of May 2012?

Both of them was Wednesday.

7th of March HK was trading at 20500s (closing)

9th of May HK now trading at 20070s

Back then – Shanghai

7th of March = Shanghai was 2394 (closing)

9th of May = Shanghai now trading at 2416

Back then – S&P

7th of March, ES was trading at 1353 (closing)

9th of May = ES is now trading at 1353!!!!

Back then – NIKKEI

7th of March, the Japanese market was trading at 9570

9th of May = the Japanese market is now trading at 9060….

Back then = Crude

7th of March, the commodity was trading at 106.50s

9th of May, this commodity is trading at 96.60

So overall,

Should we be panicking…. I am not sure and I cannot “trade or invest” for you but I can say for myself and V3Go Grads Team…

We are currently holding a sizable position and we are just going to keep it, without adding further positions and let the dust settle down first.

Expect STI to open around 2910 area this morning as players are getting seriously worried about Greece issue which we saw the Dow slamming down 200pts last night, before a strong recovery to close -76pts.

We are suggesting to traders to take a step back first if you are getting the anxiety attack but I would prefer one to see this as an opportunity to purchase things cheap and on value than chasing stocks at high instead.

Now SIMSCI is trading below OP, one can afford to wait for the BBs to come in first.

We are followers of the Price Action… we dun counter it.

Good Morning Everyone,

Based on the Asia markets futures trading in the morning, likely, we are going to see a bout of profit taking to happen first despite the incredible recovery by the S&P from 1351 (at 1705hr yesterday) to current 1365.

That’s why we are going to see STI gaping up in the morning.

2916 is the estimate IP (Intersection Point) of the UB of the DT TSC of the STI.

With the market closing at 2924, it meant that, if the market is to sell further, it would need to go below 2916 for more downside.

If not, a closing above 2950 today, will be a positive sign of a recovery back to 2985 level.

For today, my bet is the market will gap up and profit first… any follow thru buying (meaning, market must go above OP) will only likely to happen in the later part of the day.

Suggestion: Got profit, book first.

By lates morning, the V3Go Grads Team bought another $900,000 worth of Penny counters, bringing their portfolio up to a value of nearly S$2.9million.

Currently, they are down 3% but they are confident that within 1 month from now, this could turn to sizeable profit.

Based on calculation, we might see a Ultra Penny U-turn aka Bottoming out from 1545hr onwards.
